All THERMCO™ jackets are designed to lie flat before installation. This reduces costs in shipping and reduces space required for storage before, or during service.

MATERIAL SPECIFICATIONS

Insulation

Insulation material 50mm thick, with an ambient temperature of 20 Deg C and a hot face temperature not exceeding 250 Deg C produces an insulation efficiency of 95.5%.

Insulation materials are enclosed in a fabric envelope consisting of an inner ("hot side"), an outer ("cold side") and a sidewall gusset.

Jacketing

Jacketing materials are non-wetting, chemically resistant and suitable for prolonged usage at the specified operating temperatures. They will eliminate water ingression, however they are not waterproof.

The insulation materials are quilted.

Fasteners & Hardware

Covers are fastened by a quick install-release system using the same materials as the outer skin of the jacket.

Identification Tags

To ensure proper installation - all THERMCO™ covers are fitted with an identification tag.
